Keanu Reeves celebrated the end of his Broadway debut with a special night out with his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant. The show was a hit, drawing packed houses and earning positive reviews, marking a successful Broadway debut for Reeves. Last Monday, after the run of Waiting for Godot, Keanu invited me on a date in New York City… ⛸️⛸️⛸️⛸️⛸️ she wrote. She thanked the staff at Rockefeller Center for making them feel welcome, providing hot cocoa and pompom hats to keep them warm.

Alexandra also reflected on the challenge of skating after years away from the rink. Getting back on ice after a few decades and moving from hockey skates to figure skates and #$%@ toe picks is no joke! x she joked in her caption.

The couple posed for photos in front of the famous Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree, which remained glowing for the festive occasion. Alexandra expressed her admiration for young skaters training for the Winter Olympics, drawing inspiration from their dedication.

Connections with people—that’s the most important thing in life. It overrides everything, she wrote, quoting Olympic skater Alysa Liu. She added her own perspective on the importance of staying open to new adventures.

So yes, always yes to connecting! Yes to joy, yes to getting out there even when beyond tired, yes to trying something new, yes to doing it your way, and staying open to surprise! x she concluded. It was a rare, intimate glimpse into the couple’s relationship, which they usually keep quite private.

Looking ahead to the rest of 2026, Reeves has a packed schedule including Jonah Hill’s black comedy Outcome. The film, which is expected to premiere on Apple TV+ this spring, stars Reeves as a damaged Hollywood star alongside Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer. He is also set to appear in Ruben Östlund’s highly anticipated The Entertainment System Is Down.

For fans of his action roots, Warner Bros. recently announced a new sci-fi thriller titled Shiver, directed by Tim Miller. In the film, Reeves will play a smuggler caught in a deadly time loop in the Caribbean, surrounded by hostile mercenaries and sharks. The project is currently slated for a 2027 release but is already generating significant buzz.

Keanu also continues to work on long-gestating projects like the sequel to Constantine and a live-action adaptation of his comic book series, BRZRKR. Between his Broadway success and his diverse film slate, the actor is clearly enjoying a creative renaissance.

His partnership with Alexandra Grant, which went public in 2019, continues to be a source of stability and joy for the actor. The couple’s New York City date night served as the perfect bookend to a busy and successful theatrical run.
