Snoop Dogg Speaks Out To Defend David Beckham Amid Rising Family Tensions
Snoop Dogg is speaking up as drama inside the Beckham family plays out in public. The rapper has come forward to defend David and Victoria Beckham after their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, shared a long and emotional post online saying he does not want to fix his relationship with his parents.
Brooklyn posted a six-page statement on social media that caught fans off guard. His words made it clear that the tension in the family is serious and ongoing. As the situation gained attention, Snoop Dogg decided to share his own perspective on the people he has known for decades.
In an interview with The Mirror, Snoop Dogg talked about his close bond with David Beckham. He explained that their friendship goes back more than 20 years. David is my boy, we have been friends for over 20 years now, he said. The rapper added that they have watched each other raise their kids and that this gives him confidence in the kind of father David is. One thing about David is that he is a family man, Snoop shared. He also said that fame and money have never mattered more to David than his family.
Snoop also spoke honestly about how hard it is to deal with family problems when the whole world is watching. He said no family is perfect, but living in the spotlight makes every issue bigger. Still, he sounded hopeful about the future. In time, they are gonna work things out, he said, adding that he has seen real love inside the Beckham family over the years.
The friendship between Snoop Dogg and David Beckham started in the early 2000s and has stayed strong through many changes in both of their lives. Fans may remember their bond from a 2007 episode of Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood, where Beckham helped teach Snoop’s kids how to play soccer. Over the years, the two have stayed close, with Beckham often hearing Snoop’s new music before anyone else.
The current family conflict reportedly began after Brooklyn claimed his parents tried to interfere in his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz. He also accused his mother of behaving badly at his 2022 wedding. These claims were later backed up by the wedding DJ, Fat Tony, who described the event as really awkward and said the bride was left in tears.
While the Beckham family deals with these issues, Snoop Dogg continues to stay busy. He recently returned as a coach on NBC’s The Voice, where his calm and humorous style has made him a fan favorite once again.
