Sydney Sweeney is opening up about how she tries to stay grounded while living life in the middle of Hollywood chaos. In a recent cover story with Cosmopolitan, the actress talked honestly about her values, her career, and the moments that shaped how she treats people.

During the interview, Sweeney said that kindness and real human connection matter more to her than fame or success. When asked what she wishes people understood about her, she told the magazine, “I’ve always led with love, and I believe that love is love in every single form.” For her, that means treating everyone with care, no matter who they are or what job they do.

She also shared that this outlook was reinforced early in her career while working on the 2019 film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. According to Sweeney, she was deeply affected by the way her co-star Brad Pitt treated the crew on set.

She remembered watching Pitt spend time laughing and talking with members of the transportation team during breaks. She said she absolutely loved seeing that and realized that respect should be given to everyone, not just the people in front of the camera.

The Cosmopolitan interview comes at a busy moment in Sweeney’s life. Just days ago, on January 28, she officially launched her own intimate apparel brand called SYRN. She has said the brand is about more than fashion. She wants it to be a space for confidence and choice, and a way to speak directly to her audience.

The brand already caught attention thanks to a bold marketing moment tied to the Hollywood sign. Through SYRN, Sweeney says she hopes to shift the focus away from approval from others and instead center on self-love.

Professionally, Sweeney’s career is moving fast. She recently starred in the psychological thriller The Housemaid, which became a major hit. Lionsgate has already approved a sequel, and she is expected to return as Millie Calloway later this year.

She is also getting ready for the release of season three of Euphoria, set to premiere in April. The new season is expected to explore a darker and more intense storyline for her character, Cassie Howard.

On top of that, Sweeney is stepping into new genres. She has been cast alongside Noah Centineo in a live-action Gundam movie for Netflix, a project that has generated a lot of excitement among fans of the franchise.

In her personal life, Sweeney is adjusting to change as well. She and her longtime fiancé, Jonathan Davino, ended their relationship in late 2025. During the interview, she admitted that dating is especially hard when you are famous. She shared that she has never used dating apps and finds it difficult to meet people in everyday situations.
