Colin Farrell Steps Out in Pajamas and Makes Late Night Shopping Look Cool
Colin Farrell reminded everyone that Hollywood stars are just regular people once the sun goes down. On the night of February 7, the actor was spotted doing a grocery run at Lazy Acres in Hollywood, and he clearly chose comfort over style. Photos shared by onlookers showed Farrell dressed head to toe in pajamas.
He wore blue and white flannel pajama pants, a simple black T-shirt, and a thick cardigan layered on top. With no signs of security or a glam entourage, he moved through the store like any other late-night shopper, grabbing essentials. The moment quickly made fans smile, with many praising how relaxed and relatable he looked.
The sighting comes as Farrell gears up for a busy year on screen. He is preparing for the return of his Apple TV+ series Sugar, which is set to premiere its second season on June 19. In the neo-noir drama, Farrell plays John Sugar, a private investigator with a love for old movies and a secret life that slowly unfolds.
This season has an added personal touch for the actor. His longtime friend Shea Whigham has joined the cast as a government contact tied to a new missing persons case. Farrell recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about his bond with the show and its Los Angeles setting, saying it took me a long time to fall in love with this city, but now he sees its chaos as part of its charm.
He explained that Los Angeles works because it brings together all kinds of people who normally would not mix. Surfers, artists, business minds, and musicians all exist side by side, and that mix helps shape the world of Sugar. Living in the city for more than two decades has given him a deeper respect for its strange energy.

Farrell is also coming off a major career high. His transformation in HBO’s The Penguin earned widespread praise, and his recent Netflix film Ballad of a Small Player further showed his range. Directed by Edward Berger, the movie starred Farrell as a troubled gambler in Macau alongside Tilda Swinton and was released in late 2025.
Looking ahead, he has confirmed that he will return as Oz Cobb in The Batman Part II with Robert Pattinson. Farrell has teased that the script is extraordinary and hinted that the story will push the character even further. Filming is expected to begin later this year for a planned 2027 release.
Away from acting, Farrell stays focused on giving back. He launched the Colin Farrell Foundation in 2024 to support people with intellectual disabilities, a cause that remains close to his heart.
