Jennifer Garner is ready to bring some extra action to her latest project, and she has her eyes set on a familiar sparring partner. While talking about the upcoming second season of her Apple TV+ series, The Last Thing He Told Me, the 53-year-old actress revealed she’s excited at the thought of filming a fight scene with longtime friend and co-star Judy Greer.

“I would love the chance to wipe the floor with Judy,” Garner joked during a recent press event. The two have been friends for over 20 years, but their characters in the thriller series are far from allies. Greer joins as Quinn, a member of a ruthless crime family, while Garner reprises her role as Hannah Hall, whose family is drawn into danger when her husband suddenly resurfaces.

Garner’s onscreen husband, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, told Entertainment Weekly that Garner has been very vocal about wanting the fight scene, though Greer seems a little nervous about the idea. “She threatened to call her stunt double the moment it appeared in the script,” Garner laughed, adding that their real-life chemistry would make any staged confrontation especially fun.

The second season of the show picks up five years after Hannah’s husband, Owen, disappeared. As Owen comes back into the picture, Hannah and her stepdaughter, Bailey, are caught in a deadly race against time and a crime syndicate, trying to protect their family.

Outside of acting, Garner has been hitting major milestones in her business life. Her organic food company, Once Upon a Farm, recently went public on the New York Stock Exchange, with a valuation of over $720 million. She has been balancing this with a busy filming schedule, including the Netflix comedy One Attempt Remaining, where she plays a woman racing to recover a lost cryptocurrency fortune.

Garner has also returned to major industry events, appearing at the Golden Globes for the first time in more than a decade as a presenter. She continues to juggle her high-energy acting career with family life and charity work, often sharing updates about her farm and her involvement with Save the Children.

While Garner is known for iconic roles in Alias and Yes Day, this next phase of her career, blending producing, acting, and entrepreneurship, is shaping up to be one of her most successful chapters.“Working with Judy has been a highlight of my year, and if we ever get that fight scene, it’s going to be hilarious,” Garner added.
