Russell Crowe has quietly become a favorite in the “watch-tok” community after fans discovered his low-profile TikTok account. At 61, the Oscar-winning actor shares videos of his personal watch collection under the handle igp366, a nod to his band, Indoor Garden Party.

Crowe’s account is far from the polished Hollywood image people expect. He talks openly about his obsession with watches, telling his 46,000 followers, “I’m not going to show you my entire watch collection. That would take quite some time because I’m literally obsessed.”

His collection includes pieces from Rolex, Tudor, and Omega, with some watches valued up to $60,000. One standout is a Rolex Daytona with a Tiffany blue dial. Crowe explained, “There’s just something about the Tiffany blue that really gets to me… whenever it sort of sneaks out from under the suit sleeve, it always draws people’s eye.”

Fans have also noticed what’s happening in the background of his videos. Among casual household clutter and musical gear, Crowe’s Oscars and other awards make an appearance. One fan pointed out the irony of a Gladiator Academy Award just “chilling in the background,” calling it a clever power move.

Crowe’s passion for watches isn’t new. He once gifted Liam Hemsworth a $20,000 Rolex Deepsea before a film premiere in 2022. His honest and relaxed approach on TikTok has earned him admiration for being genuine and relatable.

One fan commented on the shift from action hero roles to discussing Italian microbrand watches, saying it’s a character arc nobody expected, but everyone enjoys. When he isn’t sharing watch videos, Crowe remains busy with film and music projects.

His historical thriller Nuremberg, where he stars as Hermann Göring alongside Rami Malek, is set to stream on Netflix on March 7. He also co-wrote and stars in the MMA drama Beast, which releases April 10, and is currently filming the Highlander reboot in Scotland with Henry Cavill, playing mentor Juan Sánchez-Villalobos Ramírez.

Crowe’s band, Indoor Garden Party, is also gearing up for a summer tour, with several dates already sold out in Romania and Italy. Whether he’s wielding a sword on set or showing off a rare Rolex, Russell Crowe continues to surprise fans with his range of interests and talents.
