Kylie Jenner Responds to Boyfriend’s Co-Star Saying Actions Were Disrespectful
Kylie Jenner is reportedly feeling uneasy as attention on her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, continues to grow during awards season. The actor has been in the spotlight for his work on the film Marty Supreme, and insiders say Jenner is struggling with how much praise his co-star, Gwyneth Paltrow, has been giving him.
According to a source speaking to RadarOnline, Jenner is uncomfortable with Paltrow’s admiration for Chalamet. The insider claimed that Paltrow has been openly gushing about how talented he is, especially after filming several intimate scenes together.
The source added that Kylie believes this public flattery is crossing a line, saying she’s convinced Gwyneth is crushing on Timothée and crossing the line and finds it disrespectful.
Paltrow herself has spoken positively about working with Chalamet. She described him as so easy to work with and praised his professionalism and confidence on set. The Oscar-winning actress also admitted she initially worried about their age difference, but said the scenes felt natural once filming got underway.
Despite the alleged tension, Chalamet has shown public support for Jenner. While accepting a Best Actor award at the Critics’ Choice Awards, he gave her a heartfelt shout-out, thanking her for being his foundation over the last three years.
Sources told RadarOnline that Jenner would prefer he put Paltrow in her place to stop the constant praise, but another insider said that would be unlikely given Paltrow’s legendary status in Hollywood.
The insider explained that Chalamet enjoys the attention from Paltrow and finds her compliments flattering. With his career at a high point—recently wrapping up Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown and celebrating Marty Supreme—he is clearly focused on professional growth.
Looking ahead, Chalamet is set to return to the desert for Dune: Part Three, scheduled for December 18. He will reprise his role as Paul Atreides alongside Zendaya and Florence Pugh, with Denis Villeneuve returning to direct the conclusion of the epic trilogy.
Gwyneth Paltrow’s role in Marty Supreme also marked a return to acting for the Goop founder. She plays Kay Stone, a former movie star, in the 1950s-set ping-pong drama directed by Josh Safdie. The movie also features Tyler, the Creator, and Odessa A’zion, with Chalamet serving as a producer on the project, highlighting his growing role behind the camera.
Between his busy schedule, award-season attention, and Jenner’s concerns, the relationship has been under the public eye. Sources say Jenner is keeping a close watch on Chalamet’s interactions with Paltrow while the actor balances the pressures of Hollywood and his personal life.
Fans have been discussing the dynamic online, with many debating whether Jenner’s concerns are valid or just part of the drama surrounding high-profile relationships in Hollywood.
