According to auction house announcements, she revealed plans to sell pieces from her personal wardrobe through Julien’s Auctions, with proceeds going to World Central Kitchen.
Speaking about the auction, Paltrow shared a personal reflection. I think things have energy, she said when discussing items such as a sketch of her 1999 Ralph Lauren Oscar gown. It’s nice for those things to live on.
Interest in her acting comeback has been growing since Marty Supreme premiered on Christmas Day 2025. The film was directed by Josh Safdie and stars Timothée Chalamet as a table tennis hustler in the 1950s.
Paltrow plays Kay Stone, a wealthy retired socialite. Reviews from critics described her performance as emotional and lively, with many noting how her time away from acting added depth to the role.
While she continues to manage her business ventures, Paltrow has hinted that working with Safdie opened a new creative door for her. She has not confirmed future roles but has suggested she is open to the right projects.
