Kelly Osbourne is speaking out after a tough weekend that was meant to honor her father. Following her appearance at the BRIT Awards, she faced a flood of comments online about her body. According to posts she shared on Instagram Stories, the criticism hit her at a very painful moment in her life.

Just hours after the ceremony, Osbourne addressed the messages directly. She said the comments felt especially cruel because she is still grieving. There is a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who is clearly going through something, she wrote on Instagram.

She added that people were kicking her while she was already down and spreading rumors instead of showing kindness. Osbourne made it clear she has reached her limit. I’m currently going through the hardest time in my life, she wrote, explaining that she should not have to defend herself while dealing with loss.

She said she would no longer stay quiet while strangers online treat her like she is not human. The night itself was meant to be about remembering her late father, Ozzy Osbourne.

Kelly attended the BRIT Awards in Manchester with her mother, Sharon Osbourne, to accept a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award on Ozzy’s behalf. He passed away in July 2025 at the age of 76 after a long battle with health issues.

During the ceremony, Sharon spoke emotionally about her husband and his career. Kelly also said a few words, thanking fans for the love they showed her father over the years. The tribute included a performance led by Robbie Williams, who sang No More Tears alongside members of Ozzy’s original Black Sabbath lineup.

Despite the respectful tone of the event, the reaction online quickly turned ugly. Some users focused on Kelly’s appearance and weight loss, with a few comments becoming especially disturbing. According to screenshots shared by fans, some remarks compared her body to a corpse.

This is not the first time she has dealt with this kind of treatment. Back in December, Osbourne also responded to body-shaming comments, telling critics to back off and saying her main focus was her family. That message, like this one, came during a period of deep personal stress.

Outside of the awards season, Kelly has stayed busy. She continues to co-host The Osbournes Podcast with Sharon and her brother Jack, where they often talk openly about grief, family, and life after Ozzy. The podcast has seen a spike in listeners since his passing.

She is also a mother to her son Sidney, whom she shares with Sid Wilson, and has hinted in interviews that she may return to reality television in the future. Alongside that, she has been working on fashion projects and has recently hosted Lego Masters Jr.
