Kristen Bell is setting the record straight about the rumors claiming she earned $60 million for the upcoming Frozen sequels. The actress, who has voiced Princess Anna since the first film, addressed the speculation while attending the Actor Awards on March 1, in Los Angeles.

Reports in late 2025 suggested that Bell, along with her co-stars Idina Menzel and Josh Gad, had signed deals worth $60 million each for Frozen 3 and 4. Bell quickly dismissed the claims during an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “There’s been a lot misreported about it,” she said, noting that the numbers being circulated were based on speculation rather than confirmed agreements.

Even though she denied the $60 million figure, Bell said she is extremely grateful for her role in the franchise. “The job pays very well because it’s a successful franchise, and I will happily continue to voice Anna for the rest of my life if they’ll have me,” she added.

She also admitted that the rumored amount seemed absurd when she first read it. “When I saw those numbers, I thought, ‘Whoa! What?” The Frozen films remain a major success for Disney, with the first two movies grossing over $2.6 billion worldwide. Frozen 3 is scheduled to be released on November 24, 2027, keeping with the franchise’s traditional Thanksgiving release window.

Josh Gad has also teased the sequels on social media, sharing updates from the recording studio. He mentioned that the storyline for the third and fourth films is particularly exciting and that fans can expect new surprises in Arendelle.

Outside of Frozen, Bell has stayed busy with multiple projects. She recently starred in the romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This and works as an executive producer on shows like The Tiny Chef Show. She also hosted the Actor Awards for the third time, opening the night with a musical performance, showcasing her versatility beyond acting.

Bell continues to manage her lifestyle brand, Hello Bello, which focuses on sustainable products for families. She balances her business ventures with her acting and voice work, maintaining a strong presence in both the entertainment industry and entrepreneurship.

The upcoming Frozen sequels will explore more of Elsa’s powers and the history of the Northuldra, while also introducing new characters to expand the world. Director Jennifer Lee is returning to ensure the films stay true to the tone of the franchise while answering long-standing questions.

With the core cast returning and a rich story ahead, the sequels are expected to continue dominating the global box office. Fans are especially excited to see how the bond between Anna and Elsa develops across the next two films.
