Nicole Kidman, 58, Stuns in Sleek All Black Look at ‘Scarpetta’ Premiere in New York City
Nicole Kidman was seen in New York City, looking confident and stylish at the premiere of her new TV series, Scarpetta. The event took place on March 3 at Regal Union Square, where the actress arrived wearing a bold all-black outfit that turned heads.
Kidman chose an oversized black double-breasted blazer with gold details and paired it with a semi-sheer black skirt decorated with soft feather-like accents. She kept her accessories simple but striking with silver statement rings. Her blonde hair was styled in loose waves, giving the look a relaxed but polished feel.
While speaking with reporters at the premiere, Kidman shared some personal thoughts about her daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. She said she would support them if they ever wanted to play her in a project one day.
They are there to tell you who they are, she explained, adding that any interest in acting would have to be their own choice. She also described her daughters as her loves and said she enjoys having them close whenever she can.

Family connections were a theme at the event. Kidman’s co-star Bobby Cannavale also shared the screen with his own family, as his son Jake Cannavale plays a younger version of his character in the series.
The premiere came shortly after a major personal change in Kidman’s life. She recently marked Galentine’s Day, her first since separating from and finalizing her divorce from Keith Urban in late 2025 after 19 years of marriage.
When she shared the moment online, fans flooded her comments with messages of support, saying she looked happy and glowing. Earlier this year, Kidman spent time in Australia focusing on family while preparing for several upcoming projects.
In Scarpetta, Kidman plays Dr. Kay Scarpetta, a respected forensic pathologist who uses advanced technology to solve complex crimes. The story follows her return to Virginia to reclaim her old position, a decision that forces her to face unresolved issues from her past. The show is based on the popular novels by Patricia Cornwell and is set to debut globally on March 11.
The cast also includes Jamie Lee Curtis as Kay’s sister Dorothy and Ariana DeBose as her niece Lucy. The story moves between two timelines, with younger versions of key characters played by Rosy McEwen and Amanda Righetti.
Outside of Scarpetta, Kidman has a busy year ahead. She is set to reunite with Sandra Bullock in the sequel to Practical Magic 2, scheduled for release in September. She is also involved in other projects, including Margo’s Got Money Troubles, the thriller Discretion, and a new season of Big Little Lies, which is still in development.
In fashion, Kidman continues to be a major presence as a longtime ambassador for Chanel. She regularly attends major fashion events in Paris and remains known for balancing high-end style with demanding dramatic roles.
