An F1 Star Completely Ignored Brad Pitt on Set

Even someone as famous as Brad Pitt can sometimes go unnoticed. A funny moment from the set of the 2025 racing drama F1 recently caught people’s attention after a story shared by the family of a real Formula One driver.

“We watched the F1 movie, he made no mention of that, and in one scene he’s standing next to Brad Pitt in the driver line-up when they’re singing the national anthem,” she said. Curious about it, she asked her son if he had met the famous actor during filming. His answer surprised her.

“So when I spoke to him the next time, I said, ‘I know you’ve met Brad Pitt’, he said, ‘I’m pretty sure I haven’t’. I go, ‘Mate, I saw you. I saw him standing next to you,” she explained. When she later showed him the clip from the movie, Piastri finally realized the moment she was talking about. His reaction was simple and honest.

“He goes, ‘What are you going to say to that old guy?’ So, fame has not changed him one bit,” Nicole said while recalling the conversation. The movie F1 tells the story of a veteran racing driver named Sonny Hayes who comes out of retirement.

His character returns to the sport to mentor a younger teammate while trying to prove he still belongs in the racing world. The film became a big hit after its release and attracted attention from both movie fans and Formula One followers.

Brad Pitt not only starred in the project but also helped produce it, showing his continued interest in large-scale productions. Outside of this film, Pitt has remained very busy with other projects. He recently finished filming a movie called The Riders in Greece, which is expected to be released in the near future.
