Kaia Gerber is proving that she has more than just her mother, Cindy Crawford’s height, and striking features. The 24-year-old model and actress recently turned heads in Los Angeles, putting a playful, ballerina-inspired spin on the classic little black dress.

The occasion was Vanity Fair’s Vanities party, where Gerber wore a stunning Givenchy dress. The look featured delicate black lace, a plunging neckline, and a sleeveless design. The pleated tutu-style skirt gave the outfit a whimsical yet elegant vibe.

To let the dress stand out, she skipped jewelry, paired it with black pumps, and styled her hair in loose waves. This isn’t the first time Gerber has chosen a dark silhouette for a major event.

Last month at the Film Independent Spirit Awards, she wore another Givenchy creation—a knitted mesh maxi dress with a racerback and pencil skirt. She completed that look with a side-parted blowout and fresh, rosy makeup.

Gerber’s fashion choices often echo her mother’s iconic style. The pair even coordinated their looks earlier this year in New York City, with Kaia in a straight-neck black dress and Crawford in a dramatic one-arm gown with a daring slit. Their matching appearances reinforce that the little black dress is a Crawford-Gerber family favorite.

Outside of fashion, Kaia has been building her acting career. Fans recently saw her return as Mitzi, the ambitious manicurist, in the second season of the Apple TV+ series Palm Royale. She also played Jacqueline Carlin in the biographical drama Saturday Night, which tells the chaotic story behind the very first episode of Saturday Night Live.

Gerber has several high-profile projects lined up for the rest of the year. She stars in the psychological horror film Mother Mary alongside Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, set for release in April. She is also in the dark comedy Outcome, directed by Jonah Hill, with Keanu Reeves and Matt Bomer.

In addition to films, Gerber is taking on a lead role in the FX series The Shards, an adaptation of the Bret Easton Ellis novel. Produced by Ryan Murphy, the period thriller is set in 1980s Los Angeles and marks a more dramatic turn in her acting career.

Between her busy filming schedule and her status as a fashion icon, Kaia Gerber is successfully creating her own space in Hollywood, proving she is more than just a legacy model—she’s building a career on her own terms.
