The SXSW Festival in Austin was full of energy as Michelle Pfeiffer and Elle Fanning celebrated the premiere of their new Apple TV+ series, Margo’s Got Money Troubles. Held at the Paramount Theater, the event gave fans a first look at the show and gave the cast a chance to share their excitement about the project.

Margo’s Got Money Troubles is a comedy-drama that follows Margo, a young college dropout trying to manage life as a new mother. After running into a difficult situation with her community college professor, Margo finds herself under financial pressure and decides to use OnlyFans to survive.

Michelle Pfeiffer plays Margo’s mother, bringing warmth and humor, while Nick Offerman stars as her father. The series is produced by A24 and created by David E. Kelley, promising a mix of comedy, heart, and sharp social commentary.

Adding to the excitement, Dakota Fanning joined the premiere to support her younger sister and longtime collaborator, Pfeiffer. Fans were thrilled to see the three together again, as Michelle Pfeiffer and Dakota Fanning have shared the screen in the past in films like I Am Sam and The First Lady.

Their reunion added a sense of nostalgia and charm to the event. The series also features a strong supporting cast, including Nicole Kidman, Marcia Gay Harden, and Greg Kinnear. Fans can catch the global premiere on April 15, with the first three episodes available immediately, and new episodes dropping every Wednesday until May 20.

Outside of this series, Michelle Pfeiffer is having a busy and exciting season. She stars in Taylor Sheridan’s drama The Madison, set in the picturesque Madison River Valley of Montana. The show follows a widow seeking healing and new beginnings, and also stars Kurt Russell and Matthew Fox.

The six-episode series starts this weekend, with the first three episodes releasing on March 14 and the remaining three on March 21. Elle Fanning is equally busy, balancing her acting career with producing. She will play Effie Trinket in The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, scheduled for release in November.

Dakota Fanning is continuing her work in both acting and producing, taking a lead role in an untitled thriller series for Apple TV+ directed by Kari Skogland. With their projects this year, Pfeiffer, Elle, and Dakota Fanning are clearly dominating some of the most talked-about films and series.

From the snowy vistas of Montana to the comedic and modern struggles of motherhood, audiences have plenty to look forward to this year. Fans of the trio will also be keeping an eye on future collaborations, hoping to see them come together on screen again.
