Nicole Kidman returned to the Oscars stage on Sunday, March 15, her first time at the ceremony since 2023. The 58-year-old actress impressed the audience at the Dolby Theatre with her elegant presence.

She wore a pale pink Chanel gown without straps. The dress had shiny sequins and dramatic feathers on the waist and hem. Her hair was styled in soft waves by Adir Abergel, giving her a classic Hollywood look.

Kidman was a presenter at the 98th Academy Awards alongside her Moulin Rouge! co-star Ewan McGregor. Fans got a special treat when the two recreated a quick 25th-anniversary moment from the musical.

They even recited parts of the famous Elephant Love Medley before giving out the Best Picture award. Kidman shared that the Oscars always feel like a homecoming for her. She said that as a young girl in Australia, the event represented the heart of the movie world she dreamed of joining.

In an interview with Variety, Kidman talked about her life after her divorce from Keith Urban, which was finalized in January. She said, I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good. She also shared, What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that.

Even with the glamour of the Oscars, Kidman has kept a busy work schedule this year. She recently starred in the Amazon Prime series Scarpetta, playing a famous forensic pathologist.

She is also part of the Apple TV+ show Margo’s Got Money Troubles, which comes out in April. The show features Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Nick Offerman. One of Kidman’s most exciting projects is Practical Magic 2, the sequel to the 1998 cult classic.

She and Sandra Bullock return as the Owens sisters. Susanne Bier directed the film, which also brings back Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing, with new cast members Joey King and Maisie Williams. It is set to be released on September 11.

Between her TV shows and movies, Kidman shows she can do both serious acting and big Hollywood projects. She continues to be one of the most respected and versatile performers in the world. Balancing her work with caring for her daughters, Sunday and Faith, she stays focused and determined.
