The Baywatch reboot is starting to take shape, and early photos from the set are already getting attention online. According to reports from the filming location in Los Angeles, Livvy Dunne and Brooks Nader were recently seen together on the beach as they prepared for their roles.

The show brings together a mix of traditional actors and well-known online personalities. Dunne will play a recurring character named Grace, while Nader takes on a bigger role as Selene, a lifeguard captain known for her strong personality.
The cast also includes Stephen Amell in the lead role of Hobie Buchannon. He is joined by Jessica Belkin, Noah Beck, and Shay Mitchell. Other names in the series include Hassie Harrison and Thaddeus LaGrone. Fans of the original series will also recognize David Chokachi, who is returning as Cody Madison.
The story focuses on Hobie as an adult, now leading the lifeguard team. His life changes when he discovers he has a daughter who wants to follow in his footsteps and join the team. This adds a personal story alongside the usual action and rescue scenes.
For Dunne, this project is a big step. She retired from gymnastics at LSU in 2025 and is now moving into acting. Since then, she has been taking lessons and preparing for this new career path. She already has a strong fan base, with millions of followers across social media, and continues to support her partner, baseball player Paul Skenes.
Nader is also moving into new areas of entertainment. She built her career as a model and later appeared in her own reality show, Love Thy Nader. She has also competed on Dancing with the Stars, adding to her growing presence on television.
The reboot is being led by showrunner Matt Nix and director McG. Filming is taking place mainly in Venice Beach and on studio sets. The show has been given a 12-episode order for its first season.
The new version aims to bring back the action and drama that made Baywatch popular while also connecting with a modern audience. With a mix of new faces and familiar names, the series is trying to appeal to both longtime fans and younger viewers.
