Kim Kardashian, 45, Stumbles Into a Bush in Towering Heels During Oscars Weekend

Kim Kardashian’s Oscars weekend didn’t go entirely smoothly, even though she looked stunning at the Vanity Fair afterparty on Sunday, March 15. A behind-the-scenes video posted to her TikTok shows a less-than-graceful moment that happened just before she hit the spotlight.

In the clip, the 45-year-old is wearing a metallic gold Gucci gown with $80 heels that clearly caused her some trouble. Right before the stumble, she can be heard saying, “I wonder if this shoe should be tighter.”

Moments later, Kardashian lost her balance and leaned toward a nearby hedge. Luckily, her longtime friend Stephanie Shepard and an assistant were there to steady her before she fell.

She looked at her ankle in surprise and said, “My ankle,” showing she felt the strain. She also apologized after accidentally grabbing someone nearby, saying, “F—, that poor lady, I grabbed her.”

Despite the hiccup, she quickly recovered and finished her look with messy-styled hair and striking blue contact lenses. Her final appearance didn’t go unnoticed by Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton.

Hamilton, 41, left a heart-eyed emoji on her photos from the evening, fueling ongoing rumors about their relationship. Sources told PEOPLE that Hamilton makes Kardashian “feel safe, and she genuinely enjoys spending time with him.”

On the work front, Kardashian is focusing on her acting career. She stars as a top divorce lawyer in the legal drama All’s Fair, created by Ryan Murphy. The show has been a ratings success and marks her first major leading role since her appearance in American Horror Story: Delicate.
