Mariah Carey (56) Turns Heads in Chic Mini Dress and Matching Jacket
Mariah Carey is once again showing that she knows how to own every moment, even when she is joking about avoiding the spotlight. On March 25, the singer shared new photos on Instagram that quickly grabbed attention. In the caption, she wrote, “No pictures please!!!” but the photos told a very different story.
In the images, Carey is seen posing on a terrace during the evening. The setting is calm and elegant, with greenery and stone railings in the background. Her outfit, though, is what really stood out.
She wore a cropped black leather jacket with gold details over a very short black dress. She added sheer tights, large sunglasses, and her signature blonde waves to complete the look. The whole outfit felt polished and very much in line with her well-known style.

According to people who were there, she was spotted at Erewhon, casually walking through the aisles with a shopping cart. The sight surprised shoppers, who are not used to seeing a global star in such a normal setting.
Even though she joked online about not wanting photos, witnesses said she was kind and open in person. She reportedly stopped for a moment to take pictures with fans inside the store, which added to the buzz around her recent outing.
This moment comes during a busy time in her career. Earlier this year, she performed at the opening ceremony of the Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games in Milan.
