Blake Lively (38) Takes a Break From Hollywood for Indoor Theme Park Fun

Blake Lively provided a fun peek into her recent adventure at one of the country’s most famous indoor amusement parks. On Tuesday, March 31, the 38-year-old actress visited Nickelodeon Universe, inside the American Dream mall in New Jersey, sharing a series of playful posts on social media.

Known as the largest indoor theme park in the Western Hemisphere, Nickelodeon Universe has welcomed big names like Kim Kardashian in the past. Lively made her visit memorable by combining thrills with humor, showing she can handle a little chaos with style.

At one point, she shared a photo of herself mid-ride, appearing to take a phone call while on a roller coaster inspired by The Fairly OddParents. She joked that she was “working from home” before quickly correcting herself about her actual location.

The actress also took on the human crane game, a massive life-sized arcade challenge where participants are suspended above a pit of prizes. Hanging from the ceiling and holding several inflatable toys, Lively admitted she had never felt so publicly humiliated in such a fun way.

Fans loved seeing her playful side, and she captured several other moments throughout the park, though she didn’t reveal whether her four children were with her. Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, continue to prioritize their family life while managing busy careers.

The couple, who have four children—James, Inez, Betty, and Olin—live in New York City, making a day trip to New Jersey a convenient getaway. Her outing comes during a busy and complicated period. Lively is preparing for a major legal event scheduled for May 18 in Manhattan, related to allegations of harassment and retaliation she filed against her co-star and director Justin Baldoni in December 2024.

While handling the lawsuit, she is also balancing her acting projects, keeping both fans and critics engaged. Professionally, Lively remains in demand. She recently starred in the sequel to Another Simple Favor, which hit Prime Video last May, reuniting with Anna Kendrick in Italy.

Earlier, she appeared in the 2024 release It Ends With Us, and this year, she is set to keep working on projects that show off her versatility. Even with her busy schedule, Lively’s visit to Nickelodeon Universe offered a rare moment of carefree fun.
