Kylie Jenner Faces Second Lawsuit From Former Staff Member Over Hiring Claims
Kylie Jenner is facing a new lawsuit from a former housekeeper who claims she was exposed to harassment and workplace mistreatment while working in Jenner’s home. The case was filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, according to court documents reported by entertainment media outlets.
The lawsuit was brought by Juana Delgado Soto, who says she worked for Jenner starting in 2019. She is making several claims related to her time on the job, including harassment, discrimination, and unpaid or improperly managed wages. The complaint includes a wide range of legal accusations connected to her employment.
Soto says she did not receive proper meal or rest breaks during her work shifts. She also claims problems escalated later, especially involving a supervisor identified in the filing as Itzel Sibrian.
According to the lawsuit, Soto alleges that Sibrian made offensive remarks about her background, including mocking her accent and immigration status. She also claims the work environment became increasingly hostile over time.
The complaint says Soto reported the situation, which led to Sibrian being temporarily moved to another role. However, she alleges that Sibrian later returned to her position and continued what Soto describes as retaliatory behavior, including changes to her schedule and pay, as well as assigning difficult tasks.
Soto also claims she was threatened over taking time off. One alleged incident involved her birthday, when she was told she needed to stay late instead of leaving work. According to the filing, she was told, “No one cares about your birthday, Kylie is having a dinner.”
The lawsuit further states that after Soto wrote a letter describing her concerns and left it for Jenner, she was told not to contact Jenner directly again. She also claims she was warned about interacting with Jenner in any way at work, including looking at or speaking to her.
The filing does not accuse Jenner directly of harassment, but argues that responsibility lies with the workplace environment and how complaints were handled.
This is reportedly the second lawsuit in a short period involving similar claims from another housekeeper connected to Jenner’s household staff, based on information reported by entertainment outlets.
This situation highlights how quickly workplace disputes can turn into larger legal battles, especially when public figures are involved. It will likely depend on what evidence is presented in court and how both sides respond. What do you think about these kinds of workplace claims involving high-profile employers?
