Millie Bobby Brown returns to the screen once again as Enola Holmes, and this time her latest adventure mixes romance, danger, and a very unexpected wedding moment. The new teaser for Enola Holmes 3 shows the young detective in a dramatic setting, wearing a wedding dress while also holding a shotgun, hinting that her next case is anything but ordinary.

The information comes from Netflix’s official Tudum site, which shared new details, teaser footage, and photos for the upcoming film. The story sends Enola to Malta, where she is pulled into a complicated mystery that blends her personal life with her detective work.

In this third film, Enola Holmes is once again played by Millie Bobby Brown. She returns as Sherlock Holmes’s younger sister, a clever and determined detective who refuses to back down from difficult cases. This time, her journey takes her far from home and into a new international setting filled with secrets, danger, and shifting loyalties.

The story follows Enola as she travels to the island nation of Malta. While the reason for her trip is not fully revealed, the teaser suggests she quickly becomes trapped in a dangerous situation. The official description explains that she is thrown into what is described as a “nest of vipers,” where nothing is simple and every step forward brings new risks.

At the same time, Enola is also dealing with her relationship with Tewkesbury, played by Louis Partridge. Their romance continues to grow, but it is tested by the chaos surrounding her latest case. The film explores how Enola balances emotional decisions with her sharp investigative instincts.

Netflix also confirms that Himesh Patel returns as Dr. John Watson, Henry Cavill reprises his role as Sherlock Holmes, and Helena Bonham Carter is back as Eudoria Holmes. Sharon Duncan-Brewster also returns as Moriarty, adding more tension to the already complex story.

The film is directed by Philip Barantini, known for his work on Adolescence, a one-take crime drama that gained attention for its unique style. The script is written by Jack Thorne, who also worked on the previous Enola Holmes films, based on Nancy Springer’s book series The Enola Holmes Mysteries. Production comes from Legendary Entertainment alongside Millie Bobby Brown’s PCMA Productions.

The teaser itself shows a mix of romance and action. One of the most striking images is Enola wearing a wedding dress while holding a shotgun, which suggests that a traditional celebration may not go as planned. Another scene highlights Tewkesbury waiting on church steps, dressed formally, as if preparing for a major moment in their relationship.

The official description emphasizes that this installment is more intense and layered than the previous films. Enola is not only solving a mystery but also facing emotional decisions that could shape her future. The combination of personal stakes and dangerous investigation makes this her most complicated case so far.

The film is scheduled to be released on July 1 on Netflix. Alongside the teaser, promotional photos were also shared showing Enola and Tewkesbury in formal settings surrounded by tension and uncertainty. These images continue to hint that the story will not follow a simple path.

With returning characters, a new international setting, and a stronger focus on both romance and danger, Enola Holmes 3 looks set to continue the series’ blend of mystery and coming-of-age storytelling.
