Rick Hoffman, best known for playing Louis Litt on the hit legal drama Suits, has surprised fans with a major change in his appearance.
The actor recently shared a new photo on Instagram that showed off his updated look, and many fans said they almost did not recognize him. Hoffman posted a mirror selfie with the simple caption, “Been a min,” along with the hashtag “circling back.” The post quickly gained attention, with followers flooding the comments to ask how he achieved such a noticeable transformation.
During his time on Suits, Hoffman became famous for his role as Louis Litt, the intense and sometimes unpredictable lawyer who worked alongside characters played by Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle. His character was known for his sharp suits, serious attitude and memorable personality, making his new appearance a surprise for longtime viewers.
Fans were especially curious about Hoffman’s fitness and lifestyle changes. One follower asked him directly about his weight loss, writing, “May I ask your secret for weight loss? You look great!”
Hoffman responded openly and shared what worked for him. “Intense intermittent fasting and keto diet. No alcohol,” the actor explained.
His answer quickly received praise from fans, who congratulated him on the results. Many commented on how different he looked compared to his Suits years, while others joked about the change.
One fan wrote, “What a transformation!” Another jokingly commented that Hoffman’s new hairstyle was impressive, saying, “I didn’t know intermittent fasting could grow hair.”

The actor’s transformation comes years after Suits ended its original run in 2019. The series, which also starred Meghan Markle as Rachel Zane, became even more popular after arriving on streaming platforms and introduced the show to a new generation of viewers.
Hoffman has remained connected to some of his former cast members and has previously shared stories from their time together on the show. In 2018, before Meghan Markle married Prince Harry, Hoffman talked about finding out she was dating a member of the British royal family.
During an appearance on the Today show, Hoffman recalled his reaction when he learned the news. “I had gotten the news early, and I was like, ‘You got to be kidding me’. And it was like, both of us in the trailer like, ‘Oh my. You’re going – you’re dating a prince?’”
He also said he offered Markle some friendly advice at the time, telling her, “Well, take it slow. Be careful. Don’t let him hurt you.”
While Markle left Suits after season seven due to the increased attention surrounding her royal relationship, the rest of the cast continued for two more seasons before the show ended.
Hoffman’s latest update shows that while fans still remember him as Louis Litt, the actor has entered a new chapter and is enjoying a fresh look that has the Suits audience talking once again.
