Disneyland’s World of Frozen Is Getting Its First-Ever Christmas Makeover, and Anna and Elsa Are Leading the Celebration

Disneyland Paris has never been shy about going all-out for the holidays, but this year’s Christmas program is breaking genuinely new ground. For the first time since it opened, the resort’s newest land is about to get the full seasonal treatment, transforming one of its most popular corners into a snow-covered winter destination.

That land is World of Frozen, part of Disney Adventure World, the resort’s reimagined second park that only debuted its Arendelle-themed expansion back in March. Since opening, the area has become a major draw for fans of the ‘Frozen’ franchise, but it’s never before been part of the resort’s annual Christmas celebrations, largely because the land simply hadn’t existed during previous holiday seasons.

That’s changing this year. Disneyland Paris has confirmed that World of Frozen will be re-themed for Christmas from November 7 to January 6, marking the very first time the kingdom of Arendelle has been dressed up for the holidays, complete with two brand-new daily events designed to bring the season to life throughout the land.

The first of those new experiences is called the Arendelle Carollers, a roughly 15-minute musical interlude led by Olaf alongside a full Christmas carol choir. According to the resort, the performance will culminate with Queen Anna and Queen Elsa arriving in their holiday attire as songs from the animated short ‘Olaf’s Frozen Adventure’, including “Ring in the Season” and “When We’re Together,” play throughout the village, with snow blanketing Arendelle at the moment’s peak.

The second new offering, a roughly seven-minute celebration called “Ring in the Season with Anna and Elsa,” will take place directly on Arendelle Bay, with the two sisters dressed in new winter attire leading guests through the ceremony multiple times a day. Disneyland Paris has not yet detailed exactly what the performance will entail, though it’s expected to become one of the land’s signature seasonal moments.

Beyond the two headline shows, the entire land is receiving a full decorative overhaul inspired by traditional Nordic craftsmanship. That includes new Christmas ornaments throughout the village, refined decorations lining the colorful facades of Arendelle and its surrounding Scandinavian-inspired landscapes, and a Christmas tree lighting up the entrance to World of Frozen for the very first time.

Character encounters are also expanding as part of the celebration, with Kristoff joining Anna, Elsa, and Olaf for meet-and-greet opportunities throughout the season, giving fans even more chances to interact with the ‘Frozen’ cast during their visit. That expanded roster reflects just how much emphasis Disneyland Paris is placing on making this inaugural Frozen Christmas feel like a complete, immersive experience rather than a simple decor refresh.

The World of Frozen additions arrive as part of the resort’s broader Disney Enchanted Christmas program, which continues its long-running traditions across Disneyland Park as well, including the return of Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade and the resort’s towering 24-meter Christmas tree on Main Street, U.S.A. Both parks will also host their own dedicated New Year’s Eve celebrations on December 31, featuring character-led parties and nighttime shows to close out the season.

With World of Frozen now fully joining the resort’s holiday lineup for the first time, this year’s Enchanted Christmas program looks set to be one of the most expansive in Disneyland Paris’s history, giving fans an entirely new corner of the resort to explore during the festive season.
