Frozen (franchise)

Frozen is a Disney media franchise that began with the 2013 animated film, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s *The Snow Queen*.
Following the success of the original, the franchise expanded to include *Frozen 2*, short films, books, video games, merchandise, theme-park attractions, Disney on Ice, and a Broadway musical.
It has grown into one of the world’s highest-grossing media franchises and a major global Disney brand.
