One recurring element from that marketing campaign has proven especially effective at generating speculation: a trio of mysterious, hooded figures surrounding Doctor Doom that fans have taken to calling the Latverian Witches. Ever since costume displays first hinted at their existence, viewers have been trying to piece together exactly who’s hiding beneath those robes.

New promotional artwork has now given fans another look at that same trio, framed beneath the ominous tagline “Doom Has No Rivals,” with Doctor Doom himself rendered in dramatic silhouette beneath them. The image reinforces just how central these mysterious followers have become to the film’s overall marketing strategy, even as Marvel continues withholding any concrete details about who’s actually wearing the costumes.

The reveal expanded soon after into three separate robed figures shown in deep green, purple, and orange, each fully concealing the wearer’s identity while echoing Doctor Doom’s own visual style down to the diamond-motif detailing on the fabric.

Fans have wasted little time connecting this new imagery back to established Marvel lore, particularly the rules laid out in “Agatha All Along.” That series established that a proper witches’ coven traditionally requires five members, each wielding a distinct kind of magical specialty, a detail that’s fueling theories the studio may still be holding back additional reveals.

Since only three robed figures have been shown publicly so far, in green, purple, and orange, some fans have speculated that blue and red variants could still be waiting in the wings. That theory has led to increasingly specific fan casting, with some connecting the blue figure to Wiccan and the red figure to a potential returning Scarlet Witch variant.
