Some celebrities treat the red carpet as the end of the story. Nicole Kidman prefers to keep going, and her social media tends to be where the behind-the-scenes magic shows up. After a night when she was already the subject of a runway song, she had a few more surprises ready.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show took place on October 18 at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, its first return to Los Angeles since 2007. The 2026 theme was “Fandemonium,” and the night delivered a $50 million diamond bra on Kylie Jenner and a front row full of A-listers. Kidman was there too, seated beside Vanessa Bryant and instantly becoming a talking point as the live show streamed.
Now she has shared a fresh set of images from that evening and they give a more playful look at the outfit that had everyone talking. One picture shows her in the back of a plush luxury car, while another is a close-up of her with the end of her tie between her lips.

The ensemble was a hot take on the skirt suit. Kidman wore a crisp white button-up tucked into a black pencil skirt embellished with garter belt-like details, plus a striped tie that gave the whole outfit its very VS touch. She finished the look with pointy black pumps, sultry makeup and a burgundy Chanel clutch.
The new images show those details more intimately. In the car shot, she sits with the burgundy bag in her lap, looking straight past the camera. In the close-up, sunlight falls across her face in stripes, and her honey-blonde waves and wispy bangs frame the shot.
The carousel did numbers fast. It was liked at least 107,000 times within a few hours of going up. Instagram users called her a divine being, while another commenter joked about asking whether she was free on Thursday.
The reaction fits the way the evening unfolded. Marie Claire called her arrival the most stylish surprise of the night, noting that she skipped the pink carpet and headed straight into the venue. Fashion outlets have since described the look as understated glamour with a mischievous twist.
Kidman’s evening had plenty of other highlights. Models walked the runway to Adéla’s viral hit ‘Nicole Kidman,’ a song inspired by the actress, and video showed her smiling as it played. She was also filmed dancing to Megan Thee Stallion, reacting to Tate McRae’s lingerie performance and applauding the finale alongside Timothée Chalamet and Tinashe.
Seated nearby were Jordyn Woods, Maria Shriver, Victoria Monét and Hillary Super, among others. Vanessa Bryant’s daughter Natalia made her runway debut in embellished jeans, and photos captured the two women chatting and cheering. It was a front row that rivaled the runway for star power.
The burgundy Chanel bag is no accident. Chanel announced last year that Kidman had returned as a brand ambassador, and she has become a familiar face at the house’s shows. She debuted shaggy bangs at Chanel’s spring 2026 show in Paris, attending alongside her daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
This month she sat front row at Chanel’s Spring/Summer 2027 show in Paris with Faith, and the pair coordinated their looks in gray outfits. She also documented the trip in an Instagram carousel full of pink, including a rare messy topknot. Her loose, wispy-banged waves at the Victoria’s Secret show fit neatly into that run.
The photos also land in the middle of a packed year. Kidman, 59, stars in ‘Practical Magic 2,’ and her 2026 slate has included ‘Scarpetta,’ which premiered on Prime Video on March 11, and Apple TV’s ‘Margo’s Got Money Troubles.’ She is also the ‘Babygirl’ star, a reminder that her career has been a mix of blockbuster sequels and prestige projects.
That blend of high-profile work and high-fashion moments explains why even a casual car selfie can become a talking point. Kidman has long mastered the art of making the unexpected look effortless. A tie, a Chanel bag and a sunlit window were all it took.
