‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Promo Pairs Avengers, Fantastic Four and X-Men Emblems With Marvel Run Korea
South Korea has long been one of Marvel’s most devoted markets. ‘Avengers: Endgame’ drew 13.97 million admissions there, and Disney Korea has spent months making sure ‘Avengers: Doomsday‘ stays front of mind. Teaser artwork landed in July, a “Doom’s Arrival” poster followed in August, and a trailer titled “Doom’s Judgment” arrived soon after.
The momentum has only built from there. The film’s first teaser trailer pulled in 503 million views in 24 hours, a record opening day for a Disney movie trailer and well past the 365 million views earned by the ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ trailer. Korea also gets the film early, with a December 16 release that comes 2 days ahead of the US debut.
Now a new 10-second promo is adding another piece to that campaign. The clip pairs a Korean-language ‘Avengers’ logo with Marvel Run 2026 Korea branding, then shows 3 emblems floating out of the dark: a gold Avengers “A”, a blue Fantastic Four-style crest and a red X-Men “X”. Together, they represent the 3 hero groups colliding in the movie.

The promo ties into a running festival that took place on October 31 at Inje Speedium Resort in Gangwon Province. The event marked a 10-year anniversary, since Marvel Run was first held in Korea in 2016. This year’s version moved off public roads and onto a racing circuit, with courses themed around ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, Doctor Doom, Thor and Captain America.
Runners could choose between a 10-kilometer full circuit, a 5-kilometer action race and a 2.3-kilometer family race. Finishers received limited-edition medals featuring Marvel characters, which may explain why the emblems in the new promo look like collectible medals. Registration also included a souvenir package with a Marvel Run T-shirt, a race bib with a timing chip and a scarf.
The festival didn’t stop at the finish line. Participants could also enjoy off-road rides, leisure karts and a photo zone with a Doctor Doom statue and a replica of his throne. The first 1,000 people to join a social media event received a special Doctor Doom keyring.
That same night, Seoul’s Ttukseom Hangang Park hosted a Marvel-themed drone show, with 2,000 drones flying Iron Man and other heroes over the river for about 15 minutes. It was also the city’s final Han River drone show of the year. A costume parade and event booths rounded out the Halloween celebration.
The next big moment is a visit from the cast and a Marvel boss. Disney Korea has confirmed that Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige will travel to Korea on December 7. It will be Evans’ first trip to the country for a Marvel film in 11 years, since ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ in 2015, and Hemsworth’s first visit to promote a Marvel movie.
Taken together, it adds up to one of the most active promotional campaigns for the film anywhere in the world. Marvel has placed Doom displays in places including Shanghai, the Philippines, Argentina and the United States too.

For Marvel, the stakes are clear. ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ arrives 7 years after ‘Avengers: Endgame’, and Korean media have openly asked whether the “Marvel syndrome” that once swept local theaters can come back. A string of tie-ins, from runs to drone shows to star visits, is meant to answer that question.
The film itself brings the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and the X-Men together against Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, with Anthony and Joe Russo directing. That 3-team showdown is exactly what the new promo’s emblems are teasing, and it explains why the promotional imagery keeps returning to Doom and his throne.
If the Korean rollout is any indication, Marvel plans to keep the hype machine running right up to opening night.
