It turns out Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has hit a massive milestone: seven million players have jumped into the fight. That’s a whole lot of Ultramarines, and Saber Interactive along with Focus Entertainment are celebrating big time.

The numbers come directly from official statements, so we know it’s solid.

This game kicked off in September 2024 and broke records from the start. More than two million players showed up on day one, and by October, it had surged past 4.5 million players. By mid‑January 2025, it had exceeded 6 million. Now here we are, with seven million marines guarding the Imperium.

Players haven’t just shown up—they’re sticking around. The team has been rolling out regular updates like new armor sets, higher difficulty modes, fresh PvE missions called Operations, and extra cosmetic options.

Season 2 even added DLSS and FSR 3 support for PS5, along with some hefty patches. Patch 7.0 brought more features like Prestige Ranks, new enemy types, custom lobbies in PvP, and upcoming Horde Mode.

Focus Entertainment congratulated the fans via social media as well:
