The MCU’s Phase 4 didn’t exactly go as planned. While there were some high points, a lot of it felt messy and left fans confused. Many stories didn’t seem to connect well and some plotlines just faded away without much payoff.

One big example of this was the movie Eternals. It was supposed to be a huge new start after “Endgame,” introducing a bunch of new characters who might lead the next chapters of the MCU. But the movie didn’t do well, and for the last few years, it’s barely been mentioned at all.

The only real nod to Eternals showed up in Captain America: Brave New World. There, the sleeping Celestial sticking out of the earth was a key part of the story, but even then, the Eternals themselves weren’t mentioned. So fans have been wondering what’s next for these characters.

Moon Knight, on the other hand, was a different story. The show was loved by fans and got great reviews. People have been asking about a second season for a while, but the way the first season ended makes that tricky. There are rumors Marvel Studios might be working on a Midnight Sons project, but nothing official has been said.

Recently, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige gave fans a little insight into what’s coming. When asked if characters like Moon Knight or the Eternals would be returning, Feige didn’t give a straight answer about those specific heroes but made it clear some post-Endgame characters will show up again.

He said, “I don’t know that it’s any of the specific ones you just named, but yes, that is part of the plan: Characters we’ve introduced post-‘Endgame’ will pop up again in some of the upcoming movies and beyond. The fun of the comics is anyone popping up anywhere.”

So while nothing is confirmed just yet, it sounds like Marvel isn’t done with the newer faces it introduced in Phase 4. Fans can expect some surprises as these characters might appear in future movies, keeping the MCU fresh and exciting.
