AI-Generated Live-Action ‘Invincible’ Trailer Starring Timothée Chalamet & Henry Cavill Shocks Fans!

We’re currently living in the AI era, where anyone with a basic understanding of AI prompt writing and surface-level video-editing skills can easily create somewhat convincing “fan trailers.” This phenomenon isn’t anything new. Recently, even a French TV station aired an AI-generated Superman trailer that sparked so much criticism that James Gunn himself had to step in and comment on how awful it was.

Now, another beloved franchise has fallen victim to AI-generated trailer antics. We’re talking about Invincible, the highly popular comic book series and even more widely adored animated show on Amazon Prime Video.

This particular trailer features Timothée Chalamet as Mark Grayson (the series’ protagonist), with Henry Cavill naturally taking on the role of the intimidating Omni-Man. Florence Pugh (???) is seemingly cast as Atom Eve, though some fans are still unsure about this choice, while Walton Goggins’ portrayal of Cecil—well, fans actually agree that he’s a pretty solid fit for the role.

Despite the odd mix of casting, the trailer’s overall tone and visuals leave much to be desired.

Check out this AI-generated “abomination” below (if you can handle it).

What’s interesting is that Timothée Chalamet was previously “a victim” of a fan-made, AI-generated trailer for the DCU’s The Brave and The Bold, which also featured Jensen Ackles, just a few months ago.

Back to the topic of Invincible, fan reactions were pure gold:
