Antony Starr Shares Frustrated Homelander Video After ‘The Boys’ 12-Hour V1 Scene Shoot
Antony Starr gave fans a look behind the scenes of The Boys Season 5 after sharing a late-night filming video on Instagram. The actor appeared exhausted while shooting a major scene connected to Homelander and Soldier Boy.
The video was posted as part of an Instagram carousel and was filmed by Jensen Ackles, who plays Soldier Boy in the series. In the clip, Ackles pointed the camera toward Starr and asked him, “How do you feel, buddy?”
Starr, still dressed as Homelander, looked clearly tired and irritated after the long night of filming. Ackles then showed the sky beginning to brighten and explained that it was already 5 a.m., even though production had started the previous evening at 5 p.m.
According to the post, the overnight shoot lasted around 12 hours while the cast worked on Episode 6 of the final season. The episode includes a major moment involving the V1 and Soldier Boy helping Homelander.
Fans quickly reacted to the video online. Many joked about Starr looking exactly how Homelander would react after a long filming day. One fan commented, “Long day. At least it paid off. You found it.” Another wrote, “He’s Homelander, he can feel however the f**k he wants.”

The Boys Season 5 is now close to its ending, with only a few episodes left before the series wraps up. The newest episodes continue to build toward the final showdown between the main characters.
The first six episodes of The Boys Season 5 are currently streaming on Prime Video.
