‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Set Leaks Reveal the Return of One Notable Marvel Location

New leaked videos from Avengers: Doomsday production have just surfaced, giving us an exciting sneak peek at what’s coming in one of the biggest Marvel movies yet.

Avengers: Doomsday is the next big chapter in the MCU, following Avengers: Endgame. The film brings together heroes like Thor, Captain America, Black Panther, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and many more. It also introduces a new villain, Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr., who once played Iron Man.

The movie is directed by the Russo brothers and is currently being filmed in England. It’s set to be released in May 2026.

So far, numerous set leaks have surfaced, hinting at an apocalyptic theme. Several images and videos reveal cratered landscapes, suggesting a catastrophic event will play a central role in the production. Additionally, some of the latest leaks have shown Sentinels on set, hinting at a connection to the X-Men universe.

Recently, Instagram user @theyneversawitcoming managed to sneak onto the set. During a brief exploration of the area, they captured something particularly intriguing in the background.

Fan mostly caught glimpses of the crew and a few actors relaxing on set. However, the user also managed to capture what appears to be a Madripoor bar, adding a new layer of intrigue to the production.

Madripoor is a city-state in maritime Southeast Asia, known for its stark contrast between the wealthy Hightown and the poor Lowtown. It’s a hub for crime and smuggling, centered around Buccaneer Bay.

Since Madripoor doesn’t extradite criminals, it’s considered a safe haven for them, overseen by the Power Broker.

In The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes visit Madripoor. They go to Madripoor with Helmut Zemo to find information about the Super Soldier Serum. They discover that a scientist named Dr. Wilfred Nagel was recreating the serum under the Power Broker’s orders.

During their mission, they encounter Sharon Carter, who has been living in Madripoor since the events of Captain America: Civil War. She helps them navigate the dangerous environment.

The location was also mentioned in Deadpool & Wolverine, so we are not surprised to see it returning.

Filming for Avengers: Doomsday started last month. It will take place at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England. The movie is being shot under the secret name “Apple Pie 1” to keep things quiet. Filming will last for about six months. Jeffrey Ford, who has worked on other Marvel movies, will be the editor for this film.
