‘Blue Box’ Anime Confirms Second Season

The first season of Blue Box ended on March 27, 2025 but the producers were quick to make the fans happy with a very special announcement that came today (it’s already Friday in Japan), which we would like to share with you.
Namely, it has been confirmed that the anime will be back for a second season, which is sure to make a lot of fans happy and further increase the popularity of the already popular series.
Alongside the confirmation, a teaser video has also been released:
Written by Kōji Miura, the series has been ongoing since 2021 and currently has 19 volumes as of the time of writing. The anime adaptation premiered on October 3, 2024, and was broadcast via two cours, ending on March 27, 2025. The second season currently doesn’t have a release window.
The synopsis of the story is as follows:
Taiki Inomata is on the boys’ badminton team at sports powerhouse Eimei Junior and Senior High. He’s in love with basketball player Chinatsu Kano, the older girl he trains alongside every morning in the gym. One Spring day, their relationship takes a sharp turn … And thus begins this brand-new series of love, sports and youth!
