Dua Lipa and Callum Turner Make Their First Red Carpet Appearance as a Married Couple for ‘One Night Only’ Premiere
Summer 2026 has quietly become the season of celebrity weddings, with fans barely catching their breath between one A-list ceremony and the next. Amid all that romantic spectacle, one couple’s love story has played out with a particularly cinematic arc, spanning cafe meet-cutes, whirlwind engagements, and now, a fittingly glamorous next chapter.
That couple is pop star Dua Lipa and actor Callum Turner, whose relationship has unfolded in the public eye since they were first spotted together in early 2024. What started as speculation and Instagram breadcrumbs has since evolved into one of Hollywood’s most closely watched romances, with every red carpet appearance treated as a fresh chapter in their story.
On Monday night, the newlyweds gave fans exactly that. Dua Lipa and Callum Turner made their red carpet debut as a married couple at the New York City premiere of ‘One Night Only,’ Turner’s latest film, held at the SVA Theater. The pair couldn’t take their eyes off each other on the red carpet as they enjoyed their glamorous date night.
Lipa wore a custom Ferragamo gown with bold accessories, while Turner opted for a Louis Vuitton suit paired with a striped tie. Her form-fitting black gown featured a plunging neckline, a halter neck, sheer paneling, and a delicate train, styled with chunky jewelry and diamond earrings, her hair swept back into a sleek ponytail.
The New York premiere marked one of the couple’s first big public outings since their wedding, with Turner sharing the carpet alongside Lipa and his co-star Monica Barbaro. At one point during the event, Turner planted a kiss on Lipa’s cheek as the two posed together for photographers.
The couple met in a café in London, confirmed their engagement in June 2025, and tied the knot in May 2026. The wedding celebrations included a lavish event near Palermo, Sicily on June 6, following a more intimate legal ceremony in London a week earlier. Lipa later shared glimpses of the Sicilian celebration on social media, including photos of her custom Chanel haute couture wedding gown.
Also in attendance at the ‘One Night Only’ premiere were castmates Julia Fox, Molly Ringwald, Este Haim, Ziwe, King Princess, and Ben Marshall, along with director Will Gluck. Este Haim, who has a role in the film, also composed its music alongside Christopher Stracey.
Directed by Gluck from a script by Travis Braun, ‘One Night Only’ is a romantic comedy from Universal Pictures following two strangers trying to find love on the one night of the year when premarital sex is legal. The film is set to hit U.S. theaters starting August 7.
Lipa has reportedly spent much of the summer in New York, with fans tracking her frequent visits to Electric Lady Studios amid speculation about a fourth studio album, making joint public appearances with Turner relatively rare this year. That scarcity made Monday’s carpet appearance stand out even more, giving fans a rare glimpse of the newlyweds fully in their element, supporting each other’s work while soaking in a moment clearly built for celebration.
