Kylie Jenner made her first-ever Victoria’s Secret runway walk on Sunday night, October 18, at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California. The Oscar-nominated actor was spotted clapping, smiling wide and cheering her on from the front row.

Jenner’s entrance was built for maximum drama. She appeared in white feathered wings that were the only thing visible in the dimly lit stage, and when the lights came up she took center stage in the iconic Fantasy Bra. It marked the first time the piece has hit the runway since 2018.

This year’s design is valued at an estimated $50 million, making it the most expensive Fantasy Bra to date. The center yellow diamond alone is worth an estimated $22 million, according to the jeweler. Jenner paired it with a sheer, see-through miniskirt, clear heels and oversized angel wings.

Marie Claire noted that she looked like a veteran despite it being her first time. The outlet also pointed out that Kendall Jenner isn’t the only member of the family with a runway-ready walk.

In the front row, Chalamet kept his look low-key in a black long-sleeve top and dark sunglasses. The 30-year-old could not hide his excitement as his girlfriend made her way down the catwalk, clapping and grinning throughout. Kris Jenner sat nearby holding her phone up to capture the moment, while her boyfriend Corey Gamble also attended.

Many fans praised Chalamet as the most supportive partner in the room, while others focused on Jenner’s unexpected debut. Palvin’s partner, Dylan Sprouse, also cheered from the front row, so the audience was full of proud significant others.

The moment fits a pattern. Chalamet and Jenner reportedly started dating quietly in 2023 and have rarely addressed their relationship, yet they often show up for each other at important events. Jenner was far from the only headline. Bella Hadid floated down the runway in a semi-sheer slip dress and silk chiffon wings with a fringed, metallic silver trim. Gigi Hadid’s shimmering wings were another highlight.

The show also featured live music. Megan Moroney was the first musical guest to take the stage, and Tate McRae was among the performers. Newer faces such as Ashley Graham, Anok Yai, Paloma Elsesser and Alex Consani walked alongside veterans like Alessandra Ambrosio and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Against that backdrop, Jenner’s cameo stood out because nobody expected it. Who What Wear called it a surprise turn that few could have anticipated, in a show that had promised unexpected moments.

The viral clip works because it is simple. There are no long statements or interviews, just a man in sunglasses beaming as his partner takes a huge career swing. In a celebrity relationship that has mostly stayed private, an unfiltered reaction is rare.

It also adds to a busy year for Jenner, who has been seen cheering on Chalamet at awards shows and has now stepped into the spotlight herself. The roles were reversed on this night. This time, he was the one in the audience, and the crowd noticed.
