Easter Egg Caught in the ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Trailer Gives Us Hope that Iron Man May Return

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ trailer dropped yesterday, and it was nearly impossible to catch all the references and easter eggs in one viewing. The trailer revealed plenty of cameos to add to our list, and plenty of notable “locations.” Such as presumably Strange’s portal, and Cassandra Nova using Ant-Man’s giant head as her headquarters.

But except for funny (and awesome) easter eggs, we noticed something that filled us with hope, a brief nod that Iron Man might make an appearance in this movie, which is judging by everything so far, truly an MCU savior.

At one point in the movie Red Skull’s Car from ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ can be seen, but sporting one significant change it has an Iron Man hood ornament, which prompted fans to conclude that Iron Man might be making a return.

But, before you assume that Iron Man will be miraculously resurrected for the part, he won’t at least not according to Feige who said that touching Iron Man’s death is out of the question, we can assume that it’s out of the question – even for the likes of Deadpool.

Robert Downey Jr. however is always open to return to the MCU, as he recently stated, but even if we do see Iron Man in the movie, it’s likely going to be a variant, possibly even played by someone else entirely.
