Elden Ring: Nightreign Guardian Class Trailer Revealed

FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment have released a new character trailer for Elden Ring: Nightreign, spotlighting the Guardian class. This latest addition to the lineup of Nightfarers emphasizes defense and support, offering players a robust option for team-based gameplay.

The Guardian is known for its high defense and shield-based combat. One of its key abilities is Steel Guard, a passive skill that boosts blocking capabilities, allowing the Guardian to absorb more damage from enemy attacks. Additionally, the Guardian can use Whirlwind, an active skill that creates a damaging cyclone, making it especially useful against groups of foes.

The most powerful move in the Guardian’s arsenal is the Wings of Salvation. This Ultimate Art allows the Guardian to leap into the air and dive back down, creating a protective area that not only shields allies but can also revive them if they fall. This combination of defensive strength and supportive abilities makes the Guardian a formidable and reliable choice for team-based gameplay.

This trailer follows previous character reveals, including the Recluse Raider, Duchess, and Ironeye. An overview trailer released earlier this month provided insights into the game’s areas, progression systems, and confirmed PC specifications.

The game is scheduled for release on May 30, 2025, and will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
