Eric Kripke Reveals Major Update for ‘Gen V’ Season 2, Trailer Coming Soon

After the third season of The Boys ended, we were treated to the first spin-off series, Gen V. The series focused on younger Supes and eventually tied into the main storyline, which is why it was received well by the fans in general.
A second season was announced and we knew, as has been confirmed, that it would be produced before the final season of The Boys. And while Chance Perdomo’s tragedy caused some problems, the production continued.
Eric Kripke, who is overseeing the whole franchise at Amazon, recently shared a major update on the show’s progress and we’d like to share it with you.
The update was shared by Kripke on social media:
We now know that the filming of Season 2 of Gen V is done, which is great news. A lot of the post-production work is also done by now, and with Kripke teasing a trailer soon, we might actually get to see the show in early 2026, possibly even late 2025.
We don’t know the whole schedule, but this is certainly great news and we cannot wait for more updates!
