‘Fallout’ Season 2 Gets a Big Tax Credit From California

Share:

Season 2 of Fallout is already making waves with some exciting news. The show has received a $153 million tax credit from the California Tax Commission to help cover its production costs.

This amount is typically used to help reduce the budget, which is expected to be around $19 million per episode, if the season sticks to the usual eight episodes.

While that may seem like a lot of money, it’s not surprising for a show like Fallout that requires a lot of effort to create its unique post-apocalyptic world.

Season 1 had a similar budget of about $150 million, which helped bring the detailed wasteland to life.

Fallout Season 1 was a major success, earning over 15 Emmy nominations. The performances of Walton Goggins and Ella Purnell stood out, with Goggins playing The Ghoul, a character with hundreds of years of experience in the wasteland, and Purnell playing Lucy, a vault-dweller who steps out into the dangerous world for the first time. Fans can look forward to both actors returning for Season 2.
