‘Fantastic Four’ reboot scheduled to be released in 2025 is bound to introduce Marvel’s first family to the MCU, and fans can’t be more elated about the fact. Pedro Pascal will be MCU’s Reed Richards, despite fans pleading with the studio for John Krasinski to take on the role. Vanessa Kirby will be playing Sue Storm, with Joseph Quinn taking on the role of Johnny Storm and Ebon Moss-Bachrach playing Ben Grimm.

Julia Garner will be taking on the role of Shalla-Bal, MCU’s version of Silver Surfer, although there are some reports that Norrin Radd will appear in the movie as well.

Since Fantastic Four are some of the most popular Marvel characters ever created, fans were rightfully expecting them to be a massive part of the MCU going forward, but this reportedly won’t happen. If Daniel Richtman, a well-known industry insider is to be believed, the notable superhero team won’t be included in the upcoming ‘Avengers 5’ at all.

Not only the Fantastic Four, but a lot of newly introduced superheroes won’t be. This makes sense as the MCU is a bit crowded at the moment, with fans expecting both well-known legends to appear but somehow to also have a lineup of new heroes such as Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight which can be seen in the image above. The movie will reportedly feature a smaller lineup of heroes.

Again, this makes sense since it’s not like the Avengers team is established at the moment, that will likely happen during the movie, and some hints at who the new members could be will be made available to the public with the release of ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ since Sam Willson will be tasked by Thunderbolt Ross to gather the Avengers again.

Not much is known about ‘Avengers 5’ except that its development so far has been troubled. The first sign of trouble for ‘Avengers 5’ was when Majors got himself into legal trouble back when ‘Quantumania’ was first released. This prompted the studio to look for a new direction for the movie, and we still don’t know whether Kang will be replaced by a new villain or recast, the only sure thing we know is that the movie was re-titled.

Filming is slated to happen in the United Kingdom, and it was initially planned to kick off in early 2024, before facing delays and Majors’s dismissal. ‘Avengers 5’ is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026.
