First Look at the Final ‘Jackass’ Movie Revealed: The Crew Returns for One Last Ride
A first look at the final film in the Jackass: Best and Last series has been shared, showing that the group is ending things in the same wild style they started with.
The film brings back familiar faces like Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, and the rest of the crew. This time, they are joined by something new, a humanoid robot named Larry. One of the scenes getting the most attention involves Steve-O taking part in a medical-style stunt with the robot.
According to the report, the idea came from a robotics company that worked with the team. They suggested a shocking concept, and the crew decided to go ahead with it. Director Jeff Tremaine explained that the robot had already been trained for this type of procedure, but the way it works made things more uncomfortable than expected.
The film also includes a large stunt involving explosions. One of these scenes was filmed in California and even caused confusion when people nearby thought it was a real incident. Knoxville spoke about it and said, “That’s our special effects guy, Elia [Popov], just really showing off… He loves to blow s— up… we were all kind of shocked.”

Even though the movie keeps the usual extreme stunts and jokes, there is also a more serious side this time. Knoxville said the final days of filming were emotional for him. “It actually is emotional,” he shared. “That really lands, this being the last film… the last day of filming I cried, like, four times.”
The movie will be the last chapter for the group, which started on MTV many years ago and later moved into films like Jackass Forever. Over time, they built a strong fan base with their risky and often painful stunts.
More scenes in the new film include what the team calls an intense “escape room from hell,” showing that they are still pushing limits. Tremaine said Knoxville went very far with the ideas this time, while Knoxville himself joked that he may take it easier in the future.
The film is set to release in theaters on June 26.
This movie looks like a proper ending for the series. It keeps the same energy but also shows that the cast understands this is the end. The mix of crazy stunts and real emotion could make it stand out from the earlier films. Still, it will depend on how audiences react to the balance between humor and nostalgia.
