'Godzilla: Heist' #2 Preview: Godzilla in London

Godzilla is, as you know, one of the most famous fictional monsters and the most popular kaiju of them all. The giant dinosaur has been terrorizin Japan for a long time, but its popularity has grown over the years and Godzilla is now a major part of Western culture as well.

Initially a film series, Godzilla soon became a multimedia franchise that includes animated works, comics, video games, and more. In this report, we are going to focus on one of the most recent comic book series, Godzilla: Heist, whose second issue is coming out very soon.

Godzilla: Heist #2 from IDW Publishing, written by Van Jensen with art by Kelsey Ramsay, is coming out on April 2, 2025 and we have the first preview images for the story.

The official synopsis reveals the following: Godzilla has touched down in London. The heist is ready to begin… but before our crew can rob the Ministry of Defense, they have to lure Godzilla across the city and directly to its front gates. And so begins the greatest chase sequence in comic book history! One crew, one Godzilla, one city — can they make it across without getting smashed?!
