Hot Toys Reveals Gritty Age of Apocalypse Wolverine Figure from ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’

Hot Toys is bringing a fan-favorite version of Wolverine to life, and it’s one fans won’t want to miss. Inspired by Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine, the new collectible shows off a darker and more battle-worn Logan.

This version of the character is based on the famous Age of Apocalypse storyline, where Wolverine, also known as Weapon X, comes from a bleak and dangerous reality.

In this new take on the character, played once again by Hugh Jackman, Wolverine has been through a lot. He’s lost one of his hands in this version, which is a clear sign of the brutal world he lives in, a place ruled by the powerful villain Apocalypse. But even with all the pain and chaos, Weapon X is still a fighter and doesn’t back down.

To celebrate this gritty version of Logan, Hot Toys has created a highly detailed 1/6th scale figure called the Age of Apocalypse Wolverine Collectible Figure (Artisan Edition). The figure is only available in a limited run—just 2,500 pieces—and only in selected markets, according to Hot Toys.

This collectible comes with a new head sculpt, showing off Wolverine’s rough beard and realistic skin textures. His wavy, mid-length brown hair is made from wool and looks incredibly lifelike.

The body of the figure, including the arms, is made of silicone and includes a metal frame inside. This helps the figure hold natural poses without visible joints.

Wolverine is dressed in a black suit with red stripes, giving him a sleek and serious look. He also comes with several sets of hands and arm pieces, both with and without claws, so fans can change his pose however they like. The figure even includes a cool broken wall stand for display, which adds to the post-apocalyptic vibe.

Hot Toys calls this one of the most intense and dramatic versions of Logan ever put on screen. “Don’t miss the opportunity to own one of the most compelling and gritty versions of Logan ever brought to the screen,” the company said in its announcement.

With this new collectible, fans get a version of Wolverine who’s seen it all, and still stands strong.
