Isabela Merced Hasn’t Seen ‘Superman’ Yet, But She Had Fun Playing Hawkgirl

Superman is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies of the year, if not the most anticipated one. Even those who are not fans of superhero movies know about this revitalization of the Superman story and how it is extremely important for the future of the DCU.

And while the titular hero is in the focus, the movie will feature a plethora of other important DC characters, among which is also Hawkgirl, who is going to be played by the talented Isabela Merced.

In a recent interview, Merced was asked about the role and whether she could tell us more about the movie. Sadly, she herself has not seen the movie yet, but she does confirm that it was a very fun experience, which is certainly interesting:

Superman is just a few months away. What excites you most about James Gunn’s vision for the film and your character?

I have not seen it yet! I would love to at some point, that would be great. But I’m just, I really don’t know what to say, because I don’t know! I was there and I did it, but I had fun! I’m just as clueless as you.

As you can see, Gunn is keeping the film under tight wraps, but the fact that Merced did have fun while filming the movie is certainly indicative and we hope that it means that the movie itself is also very, very fun!
