‘Jackass: Best and Last’ Is Finally Coming to Streaming, Here’s When

The film comes four years after ‘Jackass Forever,’ during which Knoxville was seriously injured by a bull, suffering a brain hemorrhage, concussion, broken wrist, and broken rib that ultimately forced him into semi-retirement from the more dangerous stunts. That injury looms over ‘Best and Last’ as both a reminder of the physical toll these films have taken and a fitting reason for the franchise to finally close its chapter.

Knoxville didn’t hide his emotions when discussing the film’s finality. Speaking on the CinemaCon stage, he told Variety that this marks the last ‘Jackass’ film the world will ever see, explaining that because they knew it would be their final outing, the crew pushed themselves even harder to make it the best entry in the franchise’s history.

That sentiment echoed comments Knoxville made in Paramount’s own announcement for the film, where he described the movie as a compilation of the crew’s favorite bits from across the shows and movies combined with strong new material, calling the finished product a love letter and gift both to himself and to the audience that’s followed the franchise for 25 years.
