Joe Rogan Confirms He Is Team Baldoni on the Latest Podcast Episode: “They [Blake and Ryan] F—-d Up”

Roe Jogan (podcast listeners will get the joke) is known to have an opinion on pretty much every trending topic recently. And it seems that the Lively-Baldoni feud is not the exception.
A bitter legal fight between actress Blake Lively and actor-director Justin Baldoni has taken Hollywood by storm, and podcast host Joe Rogan has jumped into the fray, siding with Baldoni. The dispute stems from their work together on the film It Ends With Us, a story about a woman caught in a violent marriage.
Lively claims Baldoni sexually harassed her on set and later tried to ruin her reputation. Baldoni fired back, accusing Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, of defamation and extortion, with lawsuits now piling up on both sides.
The trouble started last December when Lively filed a complaint with California’s Civil Rights Department. She alleged Baldoni harassed her during filming and then launched a smear campaign against her online.
Texts from Baldoni’s team, including publicists Jennifer Abel and Melissa Nathan, revealed plans to “bury” Lively’s image, according to a December 21 New York Times article titled “we can bury anyone.” Baldoni didn’t sit quietly.
He hit back with a $400 million lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds, the New York Times, and others, claiming they wrecked his career. He also sued the Times separately for $250 million over its reporting.
Rogan, speaking on his March 22 podcast The Joe Rogan Experience with guest Brendan Schaub, called Baldoni “this really sweet nice guy” and slammed Lively and Reynolds. “They f*cked up,” he said, pointing to Baldoni’s evidence, like a text where Lively allegedly invited him to her trailer while breastfeeding—a moment she later cited in her harassment claim.
“You literally have a text exchange back and forth,” Rogan noted, arguing Baldoni’s proof shows Lively’s accusations don’t add up. He also praised Baldoni’s legal moves, saying, “He posted the receipts,” referring to a website Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, set up with a 168-page timeline of texts and emails to counter Lively’s story.
The podcast host didn’t hold back on Reynolds either, mocking him for trying to dodge Baldoni’s suit. “Ryan’s trying to get out of it now,” Rogan said. “You are a key part of this.” Baldoni’s complaint even ties Reynolds to a jab in Deadpool & Wolverine, alleging the character “Nicepool” mocks him as a fake feminist.
Reynolds’ team doesn’t deny the inspiration but calls Baldoni’s reaction overblown. Both Reynolds and Lively have asked a judge to toss out Baldoni’s claims, with hearings set for March 9, 2026.
Rogan sees parallels to Johnny Depp’s 2022 win against Amber Heard, noting both cases feature women facing online backlash after accusing men of misconduct. “They just never thought that anybody was going to come out with the receipts,” he said, suggesting Lively and Reynolds underestimated Baldoni’s fight. “Everyone is scared. Ryan Reynolds, A-list. Blake Lively, A-list.”
This showdown feels like a Hollywood script gone off the rails. Baldoni’s evidence, especially those texts, makes Lively’s claims look shaky, and Rogan’s got a point—big stars don’t expect pushback.
But the pile-on of lawsuits, from $400 million against Lively to $250 million against the Times, seems like overkill. It’s hard to see who wins when careers and reputations are already bruised.
