Marvel fans, get ready! New leaked photos from Avengers: Doomsday production have just surfaced, giving us an exciting sneak peek at what’s coming in one of the biggest Marvel movies yet.

Avengers: Doomsday is the next big chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), following Avengers: Endgame. The film brings together heroes like Thor, Captain America, Black Panther, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and many more. It also introduces a new villain—Doctor Doom—played by Robert Downey Jr., who once played Iron Man.

The movie is directed by the Russo brothers and is currently being filmed in England. It’s set to be released in May 2026.

Notable leaker UnBoxPHD recently shared some set leaks that showcase several interesting features in the movie.

The latest set image reveals what appears to be water fountains that have yet to be placed on the set. On their own, these elements might not seem particularly revealing. However, we’ve previously reported on similar set leaks featuring destroyed statues and spaceship debris scattered across what looks like a crater-riddled landscape.

Taken together, it’s clear that this set is meant to represent a significant location that undergoes destruction, and fans have already begun speculating about where exactly this might be. One theory suggests that the set could be depicting Latveria, or more specifically, the courtyard of Doctor Doom’s castle, given the presence of ornate statues and fountains that align with that aesthetic.

On the other hand, some fans have pointed out that the statues resemble members of the X-Men, leading to speculation that we might actually be looking at the ruined grounds of the X-Mansion. Across its various incarnations, the X-Mansion has often featured grand, castle-like courtyards, adding weight to this theory.

Filming for Avengers: Doomsday started earlier this month. It will take place at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England. The movie is being shot under the secret name “Apple Pie 1” to keep things quiet. Filming will last for about six months. Jeffrey Ford, who has worked on other Marvel movies, will be the editor for this film.
