Margot Robbie Sizzles in Leather Corset While Promoting ‘Wuthering Heights’
Margot Robbie stepped out in London this week to promote her latest film, Wuthering Heights, and quickly became the center of attention.
The actress appeared alongside director Emerald Fennell at a global creator Q&A held at Claridge’s on February 6. The event was part of the film’s press tour ahead of its February release. Robbie chose a bold look for the appearance, wearing a black leather corset with a matching mini skirt. The outfit came from the Vivienne Westwood Fall 1998 collection and was styled with Christian Louboutin heels.

The press event came just one day after the film’s UK premiere, where Robbie and her co-stars arrived in heavy rain. Despite the weather, the cast continued their press schedule as planned.
Wuthering Heights is a new take on the classic Emily Brontë novel first published in 1847. Robbie stars as Cathy, opposite Jacob Elordi as Heathcliff. The story focuses on the intense and destructive bond between the two characters. This version is written and directed by Emerald Fennell, known for Promising Young Woman and Saltburn.
Speaking during press interviews, Robbie praised the creative process behind the film. In comments shared with Bang Showbiz, she said we had the most amazing screenplay and the most incredible designers. She added, it felt like we were given everything we needed to do something great.
Fennell has said her goal was not to recreate the book scene by scene, but to capture how it feels to read it for the first time. The film’s title is even stylized with quotation marks to highlight that approach.
The movie also features a strong supporting cast. Hong Chau plays Nelly Dean. Shazad Latif appears as Edgar Linton. Alison Oliver takes on the role of Isabella Linton. The soundtrack includes original music by Charli XCX, who created a full album for the film.
Wuthering Heights opens in theaters on February 13, timed for Valentine’s Day.
Outside this project, Robbie remains busy. After the massive success of Barbie, she starred in the sci-fi romance A Big Bold Beautiful Journey with Colin Farrell. She is also developing a Monopoly movie through her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment.
Elordi is also booked for the year. He recently starred in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein and will return for season three of HBO’s Euphoria.
This press tour shows how confident Robbie is in this project. The fashion, the cast, and the creative team all point to a film that wants to make a strong statement rather than play it safe. Whether fans of the original book will love this version is still an open question.
