Marvel Announces Exciting New Series Coming Next June

Marvel fans, get ready, a massive new crossover event is on the horizon. The company has officially announced Armageddon, a universe-shaking storyline that’s set to launch next June.

The event, written by acclaimed comic creator Chip Zdarsky, promises to have major consequences across the entire Marvel Universe.

According to Marvel, Armageddon will deliver changes to the Avengers and other heroes on a scale not seen since Avengers: Disassembled, the 2004 storyline that redefined Earth’s Mightiest Heroes for a new generation.

While details about the plot are still under wraps, Marvel confirmed that the groundwork for Armageddon is already being set up in Zdarsky and Valerio Schiti’s Captain America (2025) series.

The story will also tie into recent developments from the Ultimate Universe, especially Miles Morales’ return home with mysterious “Origin Boxes” in Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion #5.

Zdarsky shared a promotional image teasing the upcoming event, hinting at large-scale conflict and major character shake-ups. Marvel describes Armageddon as an epic that will reshape the balance of power within its universe, and possibly the future of its most iconic teams.
