‘Marvel Rivals’ #1 Preview Brings the Battle to the Future!

Marvel Comics is launching Marvel Rivals #1, a new comic based on the hit video game. Written by Paul Allor with artwork by Luca Claretti, this issue will be available on April 2, 2025. Fans can now preview six pages and the cover before the official release.

The story takes place in the future, where a time rift has damaged the Web of Life and Destiny. Heroes are split into two groups, each with a different idea on how to fix it. Peni Parker wants to connect the Web to Cyberspace, while Spider-Man believes using Chronovium will allow it to heal naturally. As tensions rise, heroes must choose a side—who will win?
